Hello Fall Collab: Recipe

To end our three part fall themed collab, I wanted to share one of my favorite fall foods, banana bread. Banana bread is a seasonal snack, and when fall comes around, I love having it. Even though I love it so much, I have never made banana bread before, but it is something that I have always wanted to try. This weekend was rainy, and I didn't have much on my plate. So, as I was scrolling through Pinterest, I found this delicious recipe, and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to give it a go!  

What you will need:

2-3 very ripe bananas, peeled

1/3 cup melted butter

3/4 cup sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking soda

pinch of salt

1 1/2 cups of all-purposed flour

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan

2.  In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. 

3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.

3. Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

4. Mix in the flour.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, and let it bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour.

6. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a rack!

The baking process was really simple, and it turned out amazing! I was hoping to have it for breakfast this week for school, however, my whole family devoured it ;) It was truly that good! Don't forget to visit PJ's blog and see what fall recipe she is sharing today.

Fall clothing is my absolute favorite. As the temperature starts to cool down here in NJ, I am so excited to pull out my oversized sweaters, vests, and booties.  For the second part of our fall themed collab, PJ and I wanted to share our outfits as we transition from summer to fall. I absolutely love these Kate Spade booties that have the tassel on the side of the them. It adds a nice, simple, and chic touch.

Hello Fall Collaboration: Season Bucket List

Now that it is the third day of October, and the air is finally cooling down, I am very much ready for autumn. Fall is my favorite season for many different reasons: the activities, the clothing, football games, halloween, weather etc. Since it is my last year at home before I head to college, I thought that a bucket list would be the perfect way for me to make the most of my time with my friends and family. As a great way to start the fall season, PJ from Soulfully Southern and I are doing a fall themed collab! Beginning of Fall

 Now that the cold weather has finally arrived, my fall wardrobe is my go-to. Goodbye shorts, tank tops, sandals etc.  Hello to cable knit sweaters, layering, jeans, and riding boots! On Saturday, my mom and I unpacked all of my fall clothing from my attic, and prepared ourselves for the upcoming season! For the next couple of weeks, you will find me wearing these jeans and a similar neutral sweater.

Fall Booties

For most of fall, I typically wear riding boots. However, this year I am going to change it up a bit and try sporting smaller booties. They are so fashionable and comfortable at the same time, and that is something I am definitely looking for! My favorite ankle booties are for sure the Jack Rogers Scalloped ones! Aren't they adorable?

Fall Outerwear

Fall is my absolute favorite season because of the different jacket options. Even though it is September, I recently bought the sherpa and navy vest and a poncho. I cannot wait to put them and my other jackets to use!
