Hi everyone! On Sunday, I went out to dinner with my friend who is visiting me here at the Jersey Shore. We went to one of my favorite summer spots that has a stunning ocean view. During the summer, I don't always dress up. So,  I thought it would be fun to do so with her visiting. Graduation season is full in swing, and there are a bunch of parties that I have and will be attending for my friends and classmates. I saw this red embroidered jumpsuit at Club Monaco, and I instantly fell in love with it. I knew it would be the perfect outfit to wear to my best friend's graduation brunch. I loved the espadrille wedges, and the layering of the two tassel necklace I thought brought entire red look together. This is by far one of my favorite outfits, and it is perfect for so many occasions.

Happy first day of May! I am so happy that it is finally warming up outside and actually feels like spring. Last Friday, it was my senior class'  last day of school and transition day, and I wore this adorable seersucker off-the-shoulder dress from Aqua. It was perfect for the occasion and the 80 degree weather.

Sand Dollar Pants

Greetings from Miami! Right now, I am writing from my balcony looking out at the beautiful blue ocean and palm trees. Before I went away, I bought these comfortable and beachy sand dollar pants from Vineyard Vines. I love the pink and blue color combo, and it is always amazing when you have jewelry that color coordinates with your outfit. My tassel necklace is from Summer Love Designs. On our second full day in Dallas the weather was also spectacular. I have been waiting for the right opportunity to wear these new Gucci like loafers. Since I'd be walking throughout the city, I knew these would come in hand, and I was right. These are probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever bought. They go with everything, but especially black leather leggings and this white knitted tank.

Striped Dress in Dallas

The weather in Dallas this past weekend was amazing. The warm temperatures and sunny sky made it feel like spring. On Saturday, my family and I went shopping in Highland Park Village. This was my first time shopping there, and the stores were fantastic. Next to the Rag & Bone shop and throughout the village, there were these beautiful tiled stairs. When I saw them, I knew I had to pose in front of them. It was great being able to put on one of my spring/summer dresses and not need a sweater or a coat.

On Saturday, my family and I went into Manhattan to celebrate my me and my sister's belated birthday. Before dinner, we were doing some shopping in SoHo and we spotted the store Pinko. While I was in Rome two years ago, my family and I discovered the Pinko, and fell in love with everything about it. At the time, there were only Pinko stores throughout Italy and Europe. So, when we saw it in New York City we were ecstatic and had to pop in. Immediately, I found 5 different items I wanted. Their clothing is so trendy and elegant. Out of the five items, I scored a huge deal on this gorgeous paisley vest, and I am obsessed with it. I know it is something that I definitely treasure forever.

Après Ski

Greetings from Park City, Utah! If you follow me on instagram (@theprepnextdoor), then, you have probably noticed that I have been away skiing over Christmas vacation. Yesterday, my family and I went to the Deer Valley Ski Resort to ski for the day, and after, we went to the St. Regis for après ski and dinner. I thought it would be the perfect occasion to wear this adorable Après Ski Tee from Abercrombie. I love matching this tee with some of my favorite pieces such as this Patagonia vest and Daniel Wellington watch. Of course with the low Utah temperatures, I needed to keep warm with these amazing UGG boots (I highly recommend these for winter) and pom pom hat!

During the holidays, I love color coordinating with the season. Blackwatch is one of my favorite patterns to wear throughout December and on Christmas. It is such a classic look, and a set of pearls can compliments it so well. Kiel James Patrick's Pearly Perfect Gold bracelet is the perfect piece of jewelry to wear along with a pearl necklace. A couple days ago, my mom bought me this gingham sweatshirt from Vineyard Vines, and I am literally obsessed with it. I am a huge fan of the navy gingham, and it is also extremely comfortable. It is the perfect sweatshirt to wear while running errands or over my school uniform polo.  Before school started, I bought this mock neck sleeveless midi dress, and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It isn't something I typically gravitate towards to, but I  decided to wear it on the first day of school. Surprisingly, I loved how it looked. It is the perfect outfit to wear on the weekend especially during this semi-hot weather ( I know you're out there somewhere fall weather!!). The neutral colors definitely help make it seem like fall is actually here.

After spending all day at the beach, I like to pull on a comfortable outfit to do some summer work and hang out. A pair of J. Crew chino shorts and a t-shirt are typically my go-to outfits. However, the other day I found my polos in my drawer, and I thought I would give it a go. There is something about a polo that makes you look more put together. In addition, I love putting a cable knit sweater over to keep me warm as the temperature cools down in the evening. I will definitely be wearing more polos in the future because they look great on.
