Tips for Staying Hydrated

Now, once again, I apologize for being MIA. This past week was my final week of the semester, so, you all know how chaotic it gets with tests, projects etc. Along with that, I have been extremely busy with SAT prep since it is the final one until it changes. As one of my New Year's resolutions, one was to have a more consistent blog schedule, and the second was to drink more water. So, today, I am sharing some tips for staying hydrated during this winter.

~ Carry a water bottle
I take my S'well water bottle every day to school. Not going to lie, it actually reminds you to drink more water. Ordinarily, at home, I wouldn't go for water, but when I am carrying it 24/7 I go for it instead of sugary drinks. On the other hand, it also helps the environment so it is a win win situation!

~ Dehydration can cause exhaustion
If you don't drink enough water throughout the winter can cause exhaustion, fatigue, and cramps. Also, since it is winter, you are more prone to getting sick.

~ Add some flavor
Eventually, water can taste pretty boring. So, it is nice to change it up and add some flavor to it. You can add a lemon, other fruit, or even some crystal light flavoring. It can sometimes be really refreshing.

xoxo
