Soul Cycle

This past November, my friend asked me if I wanted to try a SoulCycle class with her. This was probably the fifth time she asked me to do this, and I was always quite hesitant because I have never liked workout classes and wasn't into spinning. However, once I walked into the doors of SoulCycle, I knew I had proved myself wrong. The music was blasting in the entrance, and all of the workers had smiles on their faces. They asked me if it was my first time, and since it was, they were ready to help set my bike up and be ready to go. 

My first class was with Nick Spadaro. Nick is is by far my favorite instructor at SoulCycle. His music is always on point, and incorporates choreography that perfectly suits the music. You can really get lost into the music he plays. The high positive energy he brings and creates in the room is amazing. I especially love when he decides to do a split in the middle of a class! I love his class because since I am having so much fun, I don't even realize I am working out. Nick is always pushing myself and fellow riders to the next level. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday's are my favorite days of the week because I get to attend Nick's class.

SoulCycle is such a welcoming community. From SoulCycle, I have met so many amazing people, and have formed new friendships with riders, instructors, and staff. 

SoulCycle sells such cool and trendy merchandise. Every time I walk into the studio there is something new (leggings, sports bras, tank tops etc.) that I want to buy! Over President's Day weekend, my friends and I took a class in Tribeca when Brooklyn Stitch company was customizing SoulCycle sweatshirts. We all decided to get matching sweatshirts which turned out to be adorable. Below are the patch options, and what the sweatshirts look like. 

 

When I was in Dallas, my mom, sister, and I took the Beyonce vs Rihanna themed class with Kevin Cummings at the new SoulCycle Uptown studio. It is so much fun to try out different studios you wouldn't ordinarily go to.

If you are ever in a city that has a SoulCycle studio, I highly recommend that you give it a try because there is a new community that is awaiting your arrival. I promise you won't regret it.
